I have been going here for a long time. Hidden little gem of a place for super authentic HK food. The noodle soup has all the subtle things in place to remind you of HK. From the subtle alkaline taste on the soup, to the perfectly thin egg noodles. 100% accurate .. down to the serving size, which is microscopic to our standards in Canada. I always come here for noodles, but the fried tofu and chicken wings are notable as well. The iced lemon tea as well has that unique syrupy taste to it. One gripe I have is, omg price went up di much. A noodle, a lemon tea and a chicken wings — that was a 40 affair right there lol.

Checked out Max Noodle House to fulfill my girlfriend’s congee craving and it was delicious! Free parking in the area as long as you register your plate on the designated iPad within the restaurant. I have heard this spot has been a classic for regulars over the last twenty to thirty years and it certainly exudes a great homey vibe. The chicken congee has a soft, warming, and velvety texture with a balanced taste. We also had the beef brisket noodle soup with shrimp wontons - the brisket was so tender, and the noodle soup was packed with a tasty umami flavour. Highly recommend these two dishes. On the side we also got Chinese donut fried fresh in house as well as chicken wings and taropork spring rolls. Out of these, I really enjoyed the spring rolls. Service was great and the staff were very attendant. Definitely recommend giving this place a try as it might just become your go to congee/wonton spot like it is for so many locals!

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience! We ordered the chicken and black mushroom congee and beef brisket wonton noodle soup. Both were delicious and packed with flavour - I highly recommend! We also tried the chicken wings and pork taro spring rolls on the side. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy, yet juicy on the inside, and the spring rolls were my favourite! The service was exceptional as well. Every staff member was incredibly welcoming, polite and attentive. I'd be super excited if they opened up a location in Toronto :)

My favourite place for wonton noodles in the city. Portions are small compared to some other spots in Richmond but the noodles are nice and bouncy, broth is flavourful and wontons are just right. They’re as close as you can get to Hong Kong quality wonton noodles. Highly recommend. Turnover is super quick so even if you have to wait for a table it won’t be long :)

the best wonton noodles in vancouver. went here twice during visit to vancouver. better than double double, dynasty etc. the beef is also very good. wow. be sure to come on time at 11, as there will be a line short after.

This is the best canto noodle place in Vancouver. If you show up 1115, you are ok and be seated, 1120 you will need to wait for table. Congee noodles and wonton and fried Chinese doughnuts are all good, but don’t come w credit card, you need to bring cash here. This place is old world canto classic.

The wonton noodles is very good, soup is tasty and noodle texture is great which keep perfectly original Guandong style. But notice that the original Guandong style wonton noodle portion is small, so it might no enough for men.

Noodle were nice and portion just nice for small eater like us. Cash payment mode only.
